Campaign of the Week: Seth Rogen Gets His Glow On with Sephora
SEPHORA has tapped actor and comedian Seth Rogen to star in its new U.S. and Canada holiday campaign, “We All Sephora,” which aims to make beauty shopping more approachable and holiday gifting easier. Developed by GUT New York, the hero ad follows Rogen as he shops for gifts for his producer, cousin and mom with help from SEPHORA’s beauty advisors.
Launching Oct. 29 across television, streaming and social, the campaign also features Rogen’s curated gift recommendations on Sephora.com and its app. The brand is using Rogen’s comedic style to address the intimidation some shoppers, particularly men, feel when buying cosmetics in person. The campaign arrives as SEPHORA continues to drive growth for parent company LVMH, whose Selective Retailing division, including SEPHORA, reported an 8% sales increase in Q3 2026.

Rare Beauty Brings Back Delena
Rare Beauty is bringing childhood friends Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez together for the launch of the Delena Soft Pinch Blush Bundle, featuring the duo’s favorite shades from its bestselling liquid blush line. Launched Oct. 28, the campaign taps into the stars’ shared Disney Channel history, recreating poses from their 2009 film Princess Protection Program to create a nostalgic, friendship-driven marketing moment. By combining celebrity collaboration, throwback imagery and the personal stories behind each shade, Rare Beauty is turning the product launch into a celebration of the pair’s longtime friendship, generating emotional appeal and fan engagement around the brand.
Walmart Gives Scrooge A Holiday Glow-Up
Walmart is unifying its holiday marketing under its “Who Knew?” brand platform with “A Who Knew Carol,” a campaign reimagining The Muppet Christmas Carol starring Walton Goggins as Ebenezer Scrooge alongside Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and other Muppets. Developed with Publicis Groupe agencies, the campaign uses nostalgia, humor and recognizable pop culture characters to reposition Walmart as a stylish, trend-forward destination while appealing to multiple generations of shoppers.
The ads follow Scrooge’s transformation from a holiday skeptic into a Walmart fan, highlighting seasonal gift ideas, Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, and last-minute delivery in 30 minutes or less. Rolling out across television, streaming, social media, out-of-home, podcasts, creator partnerships and National Football League (NFL) integrations, the campaign replaces Walmart’s previous approach of running separate holiday promotions with one cohesive message throughout the gift-giving season.

Patrón Gives Día de Muertos the Last Laugh
Tequila Patrón, owned by Bacardi, is celebrating Día de Muertos with “La Última Risa” (“The Last Laugh”), a one-night multilingual stand-up comedy show in New York City on Nov. 2, the final day of the Mexican holiday. Headlined by Sofía Niño de Rivera, the event draws inspiration from calaveritas literarias, traditional satirical verses associated with Día de Muertos, and will feature branded cocktails, a preshow reception and immersive experiences at The Stand. To extend the activation beyond the event, Patrón is supporting it with paid social media, out-of-home advertising throughout New York and social content highlighting the show. The campaign aims to connect with consumers through experiential marketing while celebrating the brand’s Mexican heritage and engaging with Día de Muertos in a culturally meaningful way.
7-Eleven Turns Snack Runs into Romance
7-Eleven is tapping into the growing popularity of Korean food and entertainment with A Convenient Love, a seven-episode Instagram miniseries launching Nov. 2. Directed by Korean-American filmmaker Danny Lee, the K-drama follows two students whose lives intertwine during late-night snack runs, promoting the chain’s Flavors of Korea menu through featured dishes and limited-time discounts. The campaign will also appear on Speedway’s Instagram account, reflecting the growing influence of Korean culture in the U.S. as research shows greater consumer interest in Korean food and K-dramas. By embracing romantic storytelling, cliffhangers and episodic content, 7-Eleven aims to keep audiences coming back while connecting its menu to a cultural trend gaining momentum.
