Snickers Tells the Internet to Chill Out

Mars's Snickers Ice Cream is flipping the script, launching a social-first campaign to hire a Chief Online Chill Officer who will spend two weeks diffusing heated online debates with witty comments and coupons for Snickers Ice Cream Minis.

The campaign promotes the brand's bite-sized ice cream lineup while building on Snickers' long-running message of easing irritability. The effort also taps into the growing "little treat" trend, appealing to Gen Z and millennials seeking affordable, portion-friendly indulgences. Applications for the hybrid, Chicago-based role are open through Aug. 4, with the selected fan serving from Aug. 24 to Sept. 3.

Running across broadcast, digital, audio and out-of-home channels throughout 2026, the spot highlights the firm's continued investment in creative advertising as a way to build brand recognition. The campaign follows a series of unconventional "Power Move" ads that rely on comedy to differentiate Morgan & Morgan, P.A. in the crowded legal services category.

Kyle Cooke is Yahoo’s New Weatherboy

Yahoo has relaunched its Weather app with improved forecasts, interactive radar and enhanced air quality, pollen, UV and humidity insights, supported by a humorous campaign starring TV personality and entrepreneur Kyle Cooke as the brand's official "Weatherboy."
